Recently, in one of my computer training classes, a student asked me if there was a way to surf the web using your keyboard.
Here are some keyboard shortcuts I shared with him.
While browsing the internet, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
Press and hold the [ALT] key in conjunction with the “Left Arrow” key to revisit a previously viewed web page (going backwards) or press and hold the [ALT] key with the “Right Arrow” key to revisit a previously viewed web page (going forward).
Another tip is when completing a form online, normally you can press the [Tab] key to move from field to field down or across a form or press [Shift] [Tab] to move up or backwards from field to field on a form.
To make a selection within a field, you can usually use your “Down Arrow” or “Up Arrow” and make a selection using the [Enter] key.
Happy web surfing!
